Also, the version of the game you'll be playing is from 2015, so you probably don't need a brand-new phone. The only functional version I could get to work is on Android, so if you only have Apple, sorry! This *may* work on an emulator, but I haven't tried. I was able to "redownload" the latest version (4.6c) of the app from the Apple app store, but it has very limited functionality and is very buggy.
Please note that I have both an Apple and an Android device. I went looking, and found a way to play a mostly functional version of the game - version 1.9f. Reminded me of all the fun I used to have playing the mobile game. Gameplay mechanics were similar, if a bit simplified. I was at a Dave & Busters recently and saw they had a modified version of Spider-Man Unlimited that you could play to win tickets.
